Dear Buddy Walk Corporate Sponsor,

Thank you for considering corporate sponsorship for the Peninsula's 1st Annual Buddy WalkTM. This will be our first ever Buddy WalkTM to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome in the Virginia Peninsula. By becoming a corporate sponsor, you will be aiding DSAVP's mission to ensure that all individuals with Down syndrome and their families receive the support necessary to achieve fulfillment of life in their community. Our organization provides new parent packets, hosts monthly meetings and outings for the children, offers educational and informative seminars to both parents and professionals as well as promote awareness throughout our community. The Buddy WalkTM was established in 1995 by NDSS and has grown from 17 walks to more than 275 expected in 2008. The Buddy Walk is a wonderful, heart warming event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome in our community. Each sponsor, regardless of the sponsorship level chosen, will be considered one of the "official sponsors" of the Buddy WalkTM and will be able to use that designation in promotional materials.
